Chilitos on Hope Road styles itself as a "Jamexican" restaurant, serving a fusion of Mexican and Jamaican food. It is a family run restaurant, run by a brother and sister team of mixed Jamaican and Mexican descent.

Chilitos serves a range of Burritos, Tacos, Flautas, Gorditas and other Mexican dishes - some of them (such as the Jerk Chicken burrito) having a Jamaican twist. Food is prepared in front of you at the counter (subway style) and you can specify exactly what meats, vegetables and sauces go in to your meal. As well as the regular selection of drinks, Chilitos mixes up a mean margarita!

The restaurant has an artistic, underground vibe and attracts a cool, laid-back crowd. Chilitos is set up in a converted private house on Hope Road which has been given a Latin-style stucco makeover. Diners can sit in a lounge area (with comfortable chairs, a coffee table and album covers decorating the walls), out on the veranda or at patio tables in the front yard.

Chilitos sometimes has live music with bands performing in the ample front yard.
