If you're in Ocho Rios and have an interest in Jamaican Music then Reggae Xplosion is definitely worth a visit. Despite the name, this museum showcases many forms of Jamaican Music (Mento, Ska, Rocksteady, Reggae, Dub and Dancehall), not just reggae.

The museum follows a multi media format and features audio commentaries on headsets, selections of songs from the era at several listening posts, photographs and wall displays. There is even a re-creation of a Jamaican recording studio, complete with one of Lee "Scratch" Perry's original mixing desks.
