The main beach in Ocho Rios is Turtle Beach, stretching out for about 500m along the east side of Ocho Rios Bay.

Sunbeds and umbrellas are available for hire, and it is possible to try out a wide range of water sports (scuba diving, jet skis and kayaks are all available). There is a roped-off swimming area in the sea which is very flat and (thanks to the gradual slope of the sea bed) warm.

Food and drink is available on the beach, as are changing rooms, showers and toilets. A small fee must be paid to gain entry, you can get your hand stamped to allow re-entry later in the day.
